Words matter. Selecting the wrong ones can impede communication. But, while word choice is critical, equally important are spelling, style, punctuation and grammar. Join Scott Abel, The Content Wranglerand Val Swisher, CEO of Content Rules , for a one hour discussion with Mignon Fogarty (aka Grammar Girl) about language and how we use and abuse it. Ten attendees will be selected at random to receive a free copy of Fogarty’s book, “The Grammar Devotional: Daily Tips for Successful Writing from Grammar Girl”.
Guest Biography: Mignon Fogarty is the creator of Grammar Girl and the founder and managing director of Quick and Dirty Tips. Formerly a magazine writer, technical writer, and entrepreneur, she has a B.A. in English from the University of Washington in Seattle and an M.S. in biology from Stanford University.
