The Educational Psychology group is a network of faculty who are working on open-source materials in educational psychology.  We are using our grant money to convert the course materials we are writing into the format that Connexions uses.  Any comments on our work from our peers are always welcome!

Our first contribution is the Information-Processing Theory for Classroom Teachers module.  Two more submissions are currently being processed and will be posted on Connexions within the next few weeks.

I am honored to be the newest member of this group. I feel that the discipline of educational psychology is becoming more understood as we research deeper into the human mind. For instance, the recent discovery of the ' mirror neuron ' shows that empathy plays a major role in how people understand one another. And understanding is what educational psychology is all about.
