Academic/Professional Biography
Dr. Dale Pollard is currently serving as executive director of the 8th Day Community – a non-profit dedicated to leadership development through social service and networking in the world. He has founded Prodigal Men’s Groups , Lamentation Loss and Grief Curriculum, Bridging Counseling Services (based in Bellingham, WA), Hillcrest Community Services (also based in Bellingham, WA). and has served as a community leader in Whatcom County for twenty years. He is a graduate of Western Washington University (BA in Psychology); Regent College, Vancouver British Columbia (Masters in Family Services); Pacific Coast Family Therapy Institute Vancouver, B.C. (two year certificate in Family Systems Study and Therapy), and Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, Washington (DMin. in Transformational Leadership for the Global City). He has been married to his wife Diane (who works at Bellingham Technical College) for twenty-two years and has two daughters Amy and Anna, adopted from China and Russia respectively.
