- Associate professor in science education and instructional technology; before entering into the education field on the college level (after getting a Ph.D. in 1997), I was in science as a chemist and in computers at a business level at IBM. I have worked with K12 schools since 1993 and am eager to see inquiry-based, technology-enabled science instruction become the norm and not the exception
