- My educational credentials are: B.S., M.S. Ed, MCP Master's in Education, Special Education, Instructional Systems and Microsoft Certified Learning Professional.
I have worked in higher education for 7 years as a Supervisor of a library student technology team, a learning/ technology specialist in an academic library. My previous position was the director/Coordinator of Computer Technology for a private high school in Connecticut. My motivation and passion is as a presenter at the SLOAN-C Conference in San Francisco 2009, as an online webinar presenter for EDUCAUSE for WEB 2.0 and Cloud Technologys for student services ,2009 and cloud technolgoy and for the 4th Hand Held Librarian Conference on Mobile Devices- Off the Wire 2010. Currently I am working on making short PSA movies on Digital Citizenship for the CITIES Project at Fairfield University 2012-2014
- How have you used open textbooks?
- Not yet I am on the KNO advisory board. At the university I am involved with the iPad and research of devices that use the library ebook subscriptions. We do not have text book adoption at this time in the library. Our university book store, however, might support online text books for our students.
