PBS Teachers website provides a wealth of resources for community college instructors

Although the website PBS (Public Broadcast System) Teachers, is designed for K-12, much of the outstanding course planning material and many of the rich text, video, and audio resources are well-suited to community college classes in arts, mathematics, science, and other fields. The site provides resources, professional development opportunities, and a discussion forum. An exciting new feature called Activity Packs can be posted to your page on a social or professional network or on your website or blog. As an example, I created a page on my website and posted the PBS Activity Pack for Forensic Science.

Pointing students to an Activity Pack would not be appropriate; instead, think of it as a very light backpack full of ideas and resources you can quickly access in the classroom or on live online classes.
